This program is configured through the Platform Notifications settings for the OIL Platform Owner. Alerts relate to platform operations, including support issues and service events, according to the selected minimum severity.

How to opt in

The authorized OIL Platform Owner completes these steps in the signed-in platform:

  1. Open the Platform page and locate Platform Notifications → SMS Alert Settings.
  2. Enter the mobile number that should receive alerts in Alert Phone Number. Select the desired Minimum SMS Severity.
  3. Review the SMS consent statement and the linked Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. Select the consent checkbox to agree.
  4. Press Save Notification Settings to record the preference. The screen displays the recorded consent date, time, and telephone number.

Recording consent does not send a text message. SMS delivery is activated separately after toll-free verification and outbound delivery are enabled.
