Privacy Policy
Oilfield Intelligent Logistics LLC ("OIL", "we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and retain information associated with our websites, software platform, the OIL e-Platform Android and iOS apps, operational services, customer support, and text messaging program.
Information We Collect
Depending on how you use OIL services, we may collect information such as:
- Name and business contact information.
- Business name and account information.
- E-mail address and telephone number.
- Platform usernames and account roles.
- Support requests and operational information submitted through the OIL Platform.
- Billing, subscription, and service-status information.
- SMS notification preferences and consent records.
- Technical information reasonably necessary to operate and secure our services.
How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide and operate OIL services.
- Authenticate and administer user accounts.
- Provide customer and technical support.
- Process subscriptions, payments, and account administration.
- Send operational notifications requested by authorized users.
- Maintain security, service reliability, and audit records.
- Comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Location and Mobile Route Recording
When you use location features, OIL collects device location to record routes, show access paths, and support job and field-ticket review. Route records may include precise latitude and longitude, capture time, accuracy, and, when available, altitude, speed, and direction. These records are associated with your account and the relevant route or job.
In the Android app, route recording begins when you choose Start Route and grant the required location permission. During an active recording, a foreground service can continue collecting GPS points while the app is in the background or the screen is locked. Android displays a recording notification. Stop & Save ends GPS recording; saving or uploading may continue afterward. Force-stopping the app, removing permission, or system interruption can stop recording. An interrupted recording requires you to resume it explicitly.
In the iOS app, route recording begins when you choose Start Route and grant the required location permission. During an active recording, iOS background location support can continue collecting GPS points while the app is in the background or the screen is locked. Stop & Save ends GPS recording; saving or uploading previously collected points may continue afterward. Force-quitting the app, removing permission, or system interruption can stop recording. An interrupted recording requires you to resume it explicitly.
You can deny or revoke location permission in your device settings. Route recording requires location permission; other features may be available without it. Separate location actions, such as capturing a location for a field record, collect location when you use those features.
Offline Storage and Route Uploads
The Android and iOS recorders save route points in private app storage on your device so a connection loss does not immediately lose the recorded route. They upload points to OIL when the required signed-in route page and network connection are available. You may need to reopen the matching route page and use Retry Sync. Stopping GPS does not cancel uploads of points already collected.
A local route record may remain after upload until it is replaced by a later recording or app data is cleared. Clearing app data or uninstalling can remove unsynced points and does not delete records already stored by OIL. Discarding a route marks it discarded; records already uploaded may remain in audit history.
Operational Records and Access
Information you submit may include job details, hours, charges, field tickets, signatures, photographs, manifests, and disposal receipts. OIL uses these records and route information to support field operations, review, approvals, and related office workflows.
Authorized users can access operational records and routes according to their account role and permitted company or job access. This can include drivers, dispatchers, reviewers, and company administrators. OIL personnel and service providers may access data as needed to operate, secure, or support the service.
Maps may load tiles from OpenStreetMap. Loading a map sends the tile provider your IP address and requests for the map area being displayed. This is separate from storing your recorded route in OIL.
SMS and Text Messaging
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be sold, rented, transferred, or shared with third parties, affiliates, or partners for their marketing or promotional purposes.
OIL may send operational SMS alerts only to telephone numbers for which the recipient has affirmatively opted in to receive text messages from Oilfield Intelligent Logistics LLC.
SMS messages may include account notifications, operational alerts, support-issue alerts, service notices, and other requested transactional communications. OIL does not use this SMS program for unsolicited marketing messages.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Recipients may reply STOP to opt out and HELP for assistance.
SMS consent is optional and is not required to purchase, access, or use OIL services.
SMS Consent Records
When an authorized user opts in to SMS notifications, OIL may retain evidence of that consent, including the telephone number, date and time of consent, and the disclosure presented when consent was granted. This information is maintained for compliance, security, and audit purposes.
Protecting Information
OIL uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. Access to platform information is limited according to account roles and operational need.
Service Providers
OIL may use technology and infrastructure providers to operate its platform, host data, process authorized business transactions, and deliver communications on OIL's behalf. These providers are used only to support OIL's services and are not authorized to use OIL customer information for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
Regardless of the foregoing, text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, maintain business and audit records, meet contractual obligations, resolve disputes, and comply with applicable legal requirements. This applies to uploaded route and location records as well as other operational data. Retention depends on the type of record and the applicable business or legal need; uploaded records are not automatically deleted when recording stops.
Your Choices
You may update your OIL Platform notification preferences where available. SMS recipients may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.
Account and Data Deletion Requests
To request deletion of your OIL e-Platform account or personal data, email cristian.cuevas@oil-enterprises.com . Include the email address associated with your account, your company name, and whether you want account deletion or deletion of specific records. Do not send your password.

We will review the request, explain the action taken, and identify any records that must be retained and why. Some operational, transaction, security, and audit records may need to be retained to meet legal or contractual obligations or resolve disputes, as described above.
